The Abacus Disaster Recovery Service is a leading edge technology service developed specifically to meet the increasing demands placed on fund managers by prospective investors and regulators. Our Disaster Service replicates Clients Data and Applications in near-real time to Data Centers greater than 90 miles from their primary office and/or primary data center. All data and applications can be accessed immediately in the event there is a disaster. The user experience will be identical to how fund managers are using their data and applications in their office.
The Abacus Team has extensive experience in helping create Disaster Recovery solutions and Business Continuity plans for fund managers. We offer several options which will take into account your technology and business requirements, as well as geographical preferences. We recommend that your most vital systems and data be replicated securely to an offsite location, where they will be regularly monitored and maintained by our staff. Based on your specifications, we will provide remote access to the DR site, and provide detailed instructions as to how to access the various systems in the event of a disaster. We will also coordinate scheduled tests to ensure the systems and data are properly replicating, so you can have ease of mind when it comes to your systems’ health |
